Parent Life

With Covid-19 regulations in place, Parent Life is beginning to set up teen parents with a newer one on one mentorship program. We currently won’t be meeting a group setting, to protect our young babies. But will focus on being one on one, with all sanitizing, social distancing, and masks as needed.

At its core, mentoring is as simple as a relationship between two people. Mentoring is a form of life-coaching in which one loving adult is committed to one youth for a minimum of a year. This structured relationship can make all the difference in a youth’s success or failure.

As a Mentor for teen parents, you will meet with a young family once a week (Via phone call, in person, or texts) All resources will be provided to you, you will have a team of people to also lean into.

Fill out this form if you're interested in learning more about being a mentor for a young family:

Why Parent Life?

Most teen parents feel disengaged, forgotten, and judged. Intentional friendships in a safe and welcoming environment with authentic, Christ-sharing adults create an atmosphere of acceptance in which teen parents’ lives are transformed.

Our prayer over Parent Life comes from Colossians 3:15-16

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful. Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly…”
